The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices has two offices, located in Bonn and Cologne.

The Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices is located in the federal quarter of Bonn near junction ("Autobahn-Anschlusstelle") Bonn-Rheinaue (A 562) and the sub-way station Robert-Schuman-Platz.

Coming by car

To the right of the Rhine
Take the A 562 until you reach the exit Bonn-Rheinaue. There you turn onto Ludwig-Erhard-Allee (in the direction of Bad Godesberg); subsequently, turn right onto Heinemannstraße and then right again onto Jean-Monnet-Straße. Follow this street until the end and then turn right onto Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger-Allee.

To the left of the Rhine
Take the A 565 until you reach the exit Bonn-Poppelsdorf; from there continue on Reuterstraße towards Bad Godesberg.
Follow the street towards the right onto Friedrich-Ebert-Allee which later turns into Godesberger Allee. Turn off right onto Marie-Schlei-Allee and make a U-turn at the next opportunity in order to continue on Heinemannstraße in the opposite direction. Subsequently, turn left onto Jean-Monnet-Straße and then right onto Kurt-Georg-Kiesinger-Allee.

Coming by sub-way

In order to get from Bonn's central railway station to the BfArM, take the sub-way line 66 ("Telekom Express") bound for Königswinter/Bad Honnef and get out at the station Robert-Schuman-Platz.

Coming by airplane

From the Köln/Bonn airport take the airport shuttle bus SB60 to Bonn's central railway station. From there proceed by sub-way as described above.

From East (A3)
At the motorway junction Dreieck Köln Heumar turn onto the A4 towards Aachen/Köln Süd. At the Gremberg junction take the A559 in the direction of Köln Deutz. Follow signs to Zentrum/Deutz. Follow the signs to Severinsbrücke and cross the bridge. Turn left onto Am Weidenbach, turn left onto Am Pantaleonsberg and then turn left onto Am Trutzenberg. Turn left into Waisenhausgasse, the BfArM office Cologne is located directly in front of you.

From South or West (A4)
At the junction (Autobahndreieck) Heumar (A3) or Köln-Süd (A555) respectively take A4 (direction Aachen) take exit Köln-Klettenberg.
Turn right on B265 Luxemburgerstraße, direction Köln-Zentrum. Go street straight ahead approx. 6 km (Luxemburger-, Trierer-, Pfälzer-, Weyerstraße, Rothgerberbach). At the first traffic light after the pedestrian crossing within the sharp right hand bend, on the spot turn right into Waisenhausgasse. BfArM office Cologne is at the right side (opposite Martinsgasse)

Please use the parking garages in the vicinity because we do not have enough parking lots near BfArM office Cologne (see Parkopedia or ampido).

Coming by sub-way

Exit the Main Station at the Cathedral site (Dom) and go downstairs to the subway. Take line 16 or 18 direction Appellhofplatz/Neumarkt (approx. 5 minutes), get off at station Poststraße. Go up the stairs (sign "Rothgerberbach"). Cross the pedestrian bridge (right side), go ahead 50m in Pantaleonsstraße until you reach Waisenhausgasse. Turn right, BfArM office Cologne is in the yellow building on the right hand side (opposite Martinsgasse). Barrier-free you alternatively reach BfArM office Cologne by the subway station Eifelstraße (lines 12, 15): walk down Waisenhausgasse, after 300 m you will find BfArM office Cologne on the left hand side.

Coming by airplane

At Airport Köln/Bonn, take the public transportation train (S 13) to Köln-Hauptbahnhof (Main Station), than proceed as described under "Coming by sub-way".

By car take at intersection Köln-Gremberg A4 in the direction Aachen, Köln-Süd. From the exit Köln-Klettenberg proceed the directions under "From South".
