Medtronic has issued a field safety corrective action on specific subsets of implantable cardioverter defibrillators Concerto C154DWK, C164AWK, C174AWK and Virtuoso D154AWG, D154VWC, D164AWG, D164VWC. Leakage currents through the battery filter capacitors can lead to premature battery depletion and thus to a total loss of therapy.
