Using the implants NobelDirect and Nobelperfect of the manufacturer Nobel Biocare in certain cases an increased marginal bone resorption has been reported. These cases were analysed and the conclusion was that the implants were not placed according to the intended protocol. Therefore the Instruction for Use has been reviewed and clarified.
