The company Institut Straumann AG informed about a recall concerning his product: Drill handle. Certain cylinders of the drill handle have been incorrectly attached. The incorrect assembly of the cylinders to the drill can lead to drilling the osteotomy to the incorrect depth during implant bed preparation. There is no increased risk for patients with already successfully placed implants.
