Philips has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning Magnetic Resonance Tomography systems 1.5T Intera and 1.5T Achieva. It is planned to replace the “old” Synergy Flex-M/Shoulder coil with the improved Flex-M coil. The “old” Synergy Flex-M coil must not be combined with any other coil. This may result in possible burns of the patient.
