Siemens Healthcare has issued a field safety notice concenring an error in the compatibility data sheet of MAGNETOM ESSENZA 1,5 T, which is part of the system owner manual. The maximum gradient of the static field of MAGNETOM ESSENZA is 5,4 T/m. This information my be used for an assessment whether a patient with an implant can be scanned safely or not.
