The manufacturer Medicel AG, Switzerland, informs about the recall of Viscoject Cartridge Sets LP604240M (lot 047104). The affected lot has occasionally been mixed up with the smaller Viscoglide 1.8 cartridges instead of the Viscoglide 2.2 cartridges. The manufacturer stated a labelling error for one packaging unit. The firm estimates no acute patient risk, as the lens model, for which the cartridges have been designed, can also be injected with the smaller cartridges. The affected lot have only been distributed in Germany. The advisory notive is only available in German language.
