Biomet is conducting a recall of the Lactosorb Air Activated Heat Packs (catalogue numbers and lots see annex). The manufacturer is Walter Lorenz Surgical Inc., USA. In a small number of cases it was reported, that the products may not heat up to the desired temperature within the time as quoted in the Instructions for Use. This may cause an extended surgery time.
