Recall of the Proximate PPH Hemorrhoidal Circular Staplers (product code PPH03) from Ethicon Endo-Surgery (lots see annex). The recall is an extension of the recall in April 2007. In certain lots a production error might result in an audible and tactile feedback, which may be interpreted as a completed firing cycle and result in incomplete staple formation or cut line.
