Medtronic informed about the voluntary recall of devices from five manufacturing lots of DLP VAD Cannula for Ventricular Assist, Model 95036 (lots see attachment) and Cardio Kits C390601A, C391102A, M850313A. The firm reported, that the white spiral tip from a DLP VAD cannula had detached and was retrieved from the right pulmonary artery without further patient injury.
