The manufacturer Boston Scientific recalls two lots of the MAVERIK™ Monorail™ catheter intended for coronary artery dilation. Labeling of the different balloon sizes of both lots were interchanged. Using a smaller ballon than intended, the result of dilation may be suboptimal, using a larger balloon than intended may lead to vessel rupture.
