The European Authorised Representative of Surge Medical Solutions LLC, USA, informed about the recall of the Self Inflating Retrograde Cardioplegia Cannula (lots see annex). The products are withdrawn because of a potential leak in the pressure monitoring line, which could result in inaccurate pressure readings. The firm has not received any incident reports.
