The manufacturer Baxter recalls specific lot numbers of the closesd system apheresis sets, article numbers R2R2210T and R4R2230T, for the CS3000 blood cell separator. The affected lot numbers begin with “N”. Due to a manufcturing error, the saline and ACD lines may have been reversed, which could result in undesirable ACD infusion to the donor.
