The company St. Jude Medical is conducting a recall of lot number 2056960 of the ablation catheter Livewire TC. Due to an isolated manufacturing error catheters with a 4 mm tip electrode have been labelled as having a 8 mm tip electrode. A hazard is associated with the application of the higher power settings indicated for an 8 mm electrode.
