The company Edwards Lifesciences notified repeatedly of several safety advices for the AQUARUIS dialysis machine. The software version 3.52 is now affected too. Users are advised not to override balance alarms repeatedly without solving the issue (i.e. closed clamp, kinked line). Otherwise, a patient risk may occur. Furthermore, a substitution fluid issue is specified.
