Corrective action of Beckman Coulter for Synchron Systems Lipase Reagent (lot number M310237, M401010, M403026 and M406041). A system cuvette may be skipped in the wash procedure directly prior to running the lipase assay and then subsequently be used to run the lipase assay, resulting in the potential for reagent carryover from other cholesterol esterase or lipase containing reagents into the lipase assay. This may cause falsely positive values of lipase. The customers were informed about the problem and how to prevent it.
