Roche settles a recall of Cardiac Reader for determination of troponin T, myoglobin and D-dimer. It was observed in rare cases that in the menue a step between sample addition and analysis has been skipped which caused a shortening of the reaction time of the sample on the strip. This may cause false negative test results. Customers were advised to monitor the display while analysing the sample. A software upgrade will be provided.
