The company Baxter notified of a potential of overinfusion when using the 6060™ Multi-Therapy Infusion Pump in the intermittent mode and a specific sequence of events occurs. Furthermore, trained clinicians are requested to use the Lockout mode to prevent unauthorized changes to the pump programming. The pump security codes must not be released to anyone other than trained healthcare professionals.
