Corrective action and recall of Abbott for FreeStyle Mini (all lot numbers with 2 letters followed by 8 numbers), FreeStyle Freedom (all lot numbers beginning with CAA or CAB) and Freestyle (all lot numbers with 2 letters followed by 8 numbers) due to an impaired function if the battery exchange is delayed. Customers were informed about the problem and how to avoid it. A new software version will be developed.
