Hectec GmbH has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning an update required on mediCAD planning system for orthopaedic surgeons and clinics with versions 2.50 and higher. When using the automatic sphere detection, the confirmation dialog window may cover the sphere. This can lead to accidental detection of round x-Ray markers (left/right) and subsequent use of such markers for scaling.
