The manufacturer Richard Wolf GmbH notified customers of the Bipolar Stepped Needle Electrode Type 8765.614 of a possible insulation changing during autoclaving. The insulation tube can distally withdraw some millimeters. As a result, the free electrode length increases which may an uncontrolled release of energy into neighboring tissue.
