Medtronic ERS informs the customers of the Lifepak 500 defibrillators manufactured between February 2005 and August 2005, that component leads may have intermittent connection to the printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) pads. Medtronic recommends to control the results of the periodic self-tests performed by the Lifepak 500 and to take measures accordingly until the printed circuit board assembly is replaced.
