GE Healthcare Technologies has issued an information concerning a replacement of the external N-AC power units with serial number lower than C5420909 used by the Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Anesthesia monitors and S/5 Critical Care monitors. The power supply may not be properly grounded due to paint on the surface under the grounding screw. Because of electrical fast transients or bursts the monitor may lose display functionally.
