Zoll Medical issues an informtion to its German customers concerning an update of the User Manual of the Zoll M-Series defibrillators. If the internal battery cell that provides power to the Real Time Clock (RTC) is depleted completely, the device fails to power-up unless it is plugged into mains power. As the internal battery cell depletes the unit will provide the user the messages “Set Clock” or “Clock Fault” on the display continuously.
