Medtronic Physio-Control issued an information concerning a softwareupgrade of the Lifepak CR Plus defibrillators manufacured from October 2002 through April 2004 with software version of 1.16 or lower. The internal battery capacity can potentially be miscalculated. Although there is no real capacity loss the “Charge-Pak”-icon will display, falsely indicating the Charge-Pak battery needs to be replaced.
