The MDSS – Medical Device Safety Service GmbH has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning corrective actions of the semi automated monitor / defibrillator Responder 2000. Devices with software version 2.22 may generate erroneous “Service required” messages although the defibrillator is still functional. The software concerned will be corrected by update to version 2.38. In addition, the therapy printed circuit board will be replaced.
