The Cardiac Science Corp. has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of defibrillator/monitor Responder 2000. Pressing and holding down the shock button for more than 5 seconds causes a “Button Stuck” error which can result in therapy prohibition. An Operator’s Manual addendum has been released containing details and instructions on how to prevent this error.
