The Cardiac Science Corporation has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a software update of the automated external defibrillators Powerheart 9300A, 9300C, 9300E, 9390A, 9390E and Cardio Vive AED model 92532 manufactured between August 2006 and March 2007. There is the risk that under certain conditions the affected defibrillators prompt a “Service Required” message during a rescue event and are unable to deliver therapy.
