Natus Europe GmbH has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the electromyography system Schwarzer topas EMG which is also placed on market as topas and mmt EMG. Due to an error on the electrical stimulator electrical energy can be unintended released on the stimulation electrode. The customers are requested to install a software update on the affected systems which in case of the occurrence of the error immediately deactivates the electrical stimulator.
