ABIOMED Europe has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a problem with the circulatory assist unit AB Portable Driver. It was determined that high or low ambient operating temperatures may adversely affect patient support while the AB Portable Driver is in Emergency System Operation (ESO) mode.
