The company Invacare Aquatec has issued an information to its customers about the recall of the Birdie Patient Hoist. The recall applies to all Birdie Patient Hoists manufactured from April 2008 to April 2009. There is the risk that a breakage of the base/leg fixation screws might compromise the stability of the patient hoist with the possibility of overturning. The Field Safety Notice is only available in German language.
