Zoll Medical Corporation has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action on Zoll E Series BLS defibrillators with software versions 4.XX, 6.XX and 7.0X. If after the user initiated analysis of the ECG a “Shock advised” message is displayed, there is the risk that the defibrillator will not be charged automatically. The software versions 7.10 and higher solve the problem.
