GE Healthcare has issued a Field Safety Notice that the patient monitor can temporarily lose the ability to alarm for ECG Leads Off. If The “Update Lead Set” button, located on the ECG Menu is selected and a Leads Off condition occurs, the user will have no audible or visual alarm notification.
