Nihon Kohden Europe GmbH has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the disposable pads for defibrillation and pacing H315 with LOT number Y080609-3 used for defibrillators series cardioLife TEC-5521K, TEC-5531K, TEC-7621K, TEC-7631K, TEC-7721K and TEC-7731K. By using the affected disposable pads there is the risk that no ECG is recorded because of a poor contact in their connector and in such a case the defibrillator does not charge or discharge for a defibrillation shock.
