Welch Allyn has issued a Field Safety Notice of potential safety issues related to Propaq LT users who utilise the Propaq LT patient monitor’s Large Colour Display Interface (LCDI, P/N 007-0223-00) option. For certain applications, based on the monitor configuration and the institution’s definition of patient environment, a power conditioner may be required to meet IEC 60601-1 patient safety leakage current standards.
