Spacelabs Healthcare has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the long-term electrocardiogram (ECG) analyzer Pathfinder SL. After editing a batch of Holter records, the software will stop with an error message requiring restart. In addition, QTc values (= heart rate-corrected QT intervals) will not update after moving the marker. A software upgrade to eliminate the issue is in process.
