Philips Healthcare has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the HeartStart XL (M3735A) Defibrillator/Monitor battery M3561A. The battery may not trigger a Low Battery Alarm on the HeartStart XL. The device may shut down unexpectedly without providing a low battery warning message or audible tone before. The affected batteries will be replaced.
