Weinmann Emergency GmbH has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the Meducore Standard Defibrillator Monitoring System. There are the risks that 1. the ECG curve is not shown, even though a patient has been connected to the device using a 4-lead ECG cable and that 2. during defibrillation, if the patient is connected to the device via defibrillation electrodes and an ECG cable at the same time, a part of the energy flows off via the ECG cable.
