Maquet GmbH & Co. KG informs about a recall of the surgical suction unit Medap Twista SP 1070 manufactured between October 2004 and October 2005. The chrome coating at the bow-type handle can peel off. For the users there is a risk of cut injuries. The customers are requested to examine the devices concerned for a starting peeling off and if necessary return them to Maquet GmbH & CO. KG.
