ResMed Paris has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the batteries ResMed Power Station RPS and RPS 26 V which provides power supply to the Elisée and VS III ventilators. On initial charge of the device a malfunction could result in thermal damage and smoke emission. RPS devices delivered before August 6th 2010 but have not been used or charged must be screened immediately.
