Olympus KeyMed has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a corrective action of the Mobile Workstation WM-P1 Series. If before replacing a castor the threadlocker (Loctite) is not removed from the thread hole of the base shelf, the residual Loctite can cause the castor to become jammed and as a result to fracture and break off. At any customer site where castors have been purchased or have been replaced the correct installations will be checked and the castors will be exchanged when indicated.
