The company Calhoun Vision notified of a Field Safety Notice for the LDD System. The Light Delivery Device is used to adjust dioptric power of the Light Adjustable Lens. Users are instructed to set the ring light brightness level to “1”. In an update to the Field Safety Notice the manufacturer announced the replacement of the current version of the white ring light with a former version.
In a Field Safety Notice of November 2013 users were notified of a new, yellow ring light system which will be installed onto the LDD.
