Zeiss has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a recall of unused power cables made by the company UNICABLE which were not necessary for the assembly of TIRF/ DirectFRAP/ Cell Observer SD or PALM Microscopes. Cables may be wrongly-wired in such a way that line voltage is directed to the polyethylene safety socket or the PC metal housing.
