Verathon has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a recall affecting certain serial numbers of the Glidescope GVL and AVL reusable blades. Affected products might break due to premature material fatigue. Simultaneously, it is recommended to routinely inspect all blades before and after use to ensure blade is free of damages and not to use damaged blades.
