The company Össur hf. has issued a Safety Notice to its customers about the recall of the Icelock Expulsion Valves 551. The recall applies to all Icelock Expulsion Valves 551 manufactured from October 27^th to June 20^th (article number L-551000). There is the risk that the plastic caps might come off or become loose when the user stepped into their prosthesis.
