The company Invacare Rea AB has issued a field safety notice to its customers to cover the “hook” label with a warning label. The risk for injury during an accident increases when the wheel chair is with a low backrest. Invacare strongly advises against the use of XLT as the seat in a vehicle if the backrest is lower than 40 cm.
