The manufacturer Otto Bock Mobility Solutions GmbH has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning the medical device combination James Leckey Mygo seating system/Otto Bock Discovery wheelbase. The James Leckey Mygo seating system is not compatible with the 40cm size of the Discovery wheelbase of Otto Bock when used as a seat in a vehicle. Affected are Discovery wheelbases produced between July 2008 until October 2010. These combinations didn´t fulfil the crash test requirements of the ISO 7176-19. Therefore it is not for use as a seat in a vehicle.
