GE Healtcare has issued a Safety Notice concerning Precision 500D and Advantx Legacy X-ray Systems.The manufacturer will schedule a field visit to inspect and replace the park latch switch within the Image Intensifier carriage, as needed. If the park latch switch fails, the user could initiate flouroscopic X-ray radiation without the Primary Protective Barrier properly positioned.
