MTS Maschinenbau AG has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning the deficient functioning of the safety catch in the case of a cable break on Chrystal LT 201 X-ray system from the manufacturer XCAN AG. The users are recommended to entrust their service company with a preventive replacement of the rope and a check of the set braking force on the vertical break disc.
