Philips Medical Systems has issued a Field Safety Notice concerning a software upgrade required on DigitalDiagnost X-ray systems with software versions 3.0.1, 3.0.2, 3.0.3. Software release 3.0.3 contains a defect that may result in the incorrect placement of the electronic left/right marker indicating the patient side if an image is rotated.
